The President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), on behalf of both the SOC and the Syrian people, has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the fraternal Moroccan people following the devastating earthquake that struck multiple regions of the Kingdom of Morocco last Saturday.
In an official letter, Al-Meslet expressed profound sorrow for the losses incurred by this catastrophe and reiterated the unwavering solidarity of the Syrian people with the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco. He emphasized the Syrian people’s support for their brotherly Moroccan counterparts as they grapple with the harrowing aftermath of this tragic event.
Al-Meslet extended warm condolences to the victims’ families, while wishing a swift recovery for those injured. He also prayed for the safety and well-being of all our Moroccan brethren, especially in the affected areas, seeking God Almighty’s blessings, prosperity, and goodwill for the Kingdom of Morocco, the fraternal Moroccan people, as well as the wider Arab and Islamic nations.
In his statement, Al-Meslet stressed that the sentiments of the Syrians are with the Moroccan people and the Moroccan government in the face of this disaster. The collective aspiration is for the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco to overcome this ordeal as swiftly as possible.
