President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem al-Meslet, met with representatives of the Syndicate of Free Syrian Academics, and discussed with them the educational reality in the liberated areas. He also listened to the difficulties and obstacles that hinder the development of the educational process.
Al-Meslet stressed the importance of improving the educational process, and exerting more efforts to make education in the liberated areas a successful model in the future.
He also stressed the importance of education to prepare a new, mature and educated generation capable of building what the Assad regime and its backers are destroying.
For their, representatives of the Syndicate spoke about the problems facing higher education in the liberated areas, calling for referring these problems to the Syrian Interim Government for treatment and consideration.
They also talked about the problems facing students, especially the problem of transportation and roads, in addition to the problem of private universities and the licenses granted to them.
