President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem Al-Meslet, gave a speech during a discussion held by the SOC’s Committee of Political Parties and Blocs on the prospects of the political process and changes in the SOC. The discussion brought together representatives of the Syrian national parties, blocs and groupings.
Al-Meslet stressed the importance of real participatory decision-making with the forces of the revolution and the opposition, as well as the discussion of commonalities with political blocs, national parties, movements, organizations and groupings.
He stressed the need to hold regular meetings with national parties, movements and blocs to discuss all political issues related to the political process and the implementation of UN resolutions on Syria to reach a full political transition.
Al-Meslet talked about the SOC’s efforts to complete the expansion consultations, making it clear that the process naturally involves all components, including political parties and blocs. He stressed the need to engage active and effective names and components.
