President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem al-Meslet, visited the SOC’s office in the Turkish city of Gaziantep where he met with the Director of the office, Muhammad al-Shamali, and ascertain the progress of work.
Al-Meslet was accompanied by Vice President Abdulahad Astepho, members of the political committee Abd al-Basit Abd al-Latif and Muhammad Yahya Maktabi, and the Executive Director of the Assistance Coordination Unit Muhammad Hasno.
Al-Meslet was briefed on the challenges facing the office’s efforts to support Syrian refugees in Gaziantep and solve the problems they are facing in coordination with the competent Turkish authorities.
Al-Meslet stressed the importance of the office’s role in following the affairs of the Syrian community in Gaziantep and holding regular activities and events in order to benefit from the Syrian competencies.
