The Syrian Interim Government’s (SIG) Directorate of Health in Aleppo continues to sterilize IDP camps, SIG’s institutions and service facilities to prevent spread of coronavirus in northern rural Aleppo.
SIG’s website quoted Director of Healthcare in Aleppo, Muhammad Kurdi, as saying that the Directorate continues to sterilize IDP camps, SIG’s institutions and public markets.
Kurdi said that the Directorate has recently sterilized Al-Salama and Al-Qatari IDP camps, adding that the Directorate is now working in the town of Turkoman Barah and in northern rural Aleppo.
Kurdi indicated that the Directorate sterilization team will soon move to the town of Al-Bab as part of a large-scale campaign to sterilize SIG’s institutions, facilities, mosques, schools, and public markets in coordination with the local council in the town. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
