Hadi al-Bahra, president of the Syrian Coalition, said that “partial solutions will not solve the conflict in Syria, but quite the contrary, it may prolong it which will have serious repercussions on the Syrian people,” during a meeting with Britain’s Foreign Minister Philip Hammond. “Stepping up military and political support for the Syrian revolution is badly needed at this stage as it would enable the Syrian Coalitions and its constitutions to return to Syria and work side by side with the Syrian people.” Bahra stresses the need to put pressure on the Assad regime and its allies to stop its genocidal massacres against the Syrian people and agree to engage in negotiations to reach a political solution, the only way to save Syria.” It is worth noting that the Syrian Coalition sent a delegation headed by Hadi al-Bahra to Great Britain to attend the Friends of Syria meeting on an official invitation of the British government.
