President of the Syrian National Coalition, Anas Abdah, and head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Abdurrahman Mustafa, visited the headquarters of the Syrian National Army’s General Staff and toured the battlefronts against the Assad regime forces and Iranian militias. Abdah met the SNA commanders as he ascertained the course of battles, combat readiness, and the morale of the SNA fighters.
Abdah listened to a briefing from Minister of Defense Major General Salim Idris and field commanders on the latest military developments in Idlib and the SNA’s recapture of the strategic town of Al-Nairab. He also checked on the military preparations to fend off the Russian and Assad regime’s onslaught against civilians across the freed territories in northwestern Syria.
Abdah praised the courage and heroism being shown by the SNA fighters in the face of the Russian military machine. He stressed that this heroic resistance will significantly contribute to changing the course of the Syrian Revolution and force Russia to sit at the negotiating so as to bring about a political solution through the implementation of international resolutions, most importantly UN resolution 2254.
