Aleppo Local Council Carries Out Maintenance on Water Systems The Division of Water and Sanitation in the local council of Aleppo has been carrying out maintenance on water systems damaged as a result of the daily bombing. The neighborhoods of Ard al Hamra, Mwasalt, and Tariq al Bab have been resupplied with clean water. Hundreds of civilians were killed in the ferocious aerial campaign on the city. UNRWA Launches Anti-Polio Campaign In Yarmouk Camp The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced the launching of an anti-polio campaign in Yarmouk camp in southern Damascus, which has been put under crippling siege by Assad’s forces for more than six months. Chris Gunness, spokesman for the UNRWA, said the agency transferred tens of thousands of polio vaccines to Yarmouk camp in cooperation with UN organizations. New Local Council Formed In Raqqa The General Commission of Raqqa Local Council announced the formation of a new local council of in the province. The Council consists of a 15-member executive office in addition to the three supervisors, and will begin work as of today and for six months. The Council was formed as part of the of local councils unit in the Syrian Coalition. Taleb al Najjem was appointed as chairman of the new Council, while Omar al Khamri was appointed as deputy chairman. The members of the local councils of Raqqa, Tel Abiyad, Tabaqqa and al karama kept their positions. Death Toll: 32 People Killed Today, 65 Yesterday The Local Coordination Committees documented 65 people killed yesterday, while 32 people were killed as of 6:00 pm of today. Ongoing Barrel Bomb Attacks on Damascus Suburbs Regime forces shelled Douma with heavy artillery, killing two people and wounding dozens. Assad’s warplanes dropped barrel bombs on Dariya, Zakia and Zabadani, and Eastern Ghouta. Three people died in Yarmouk camp woman due to hunger, drought and lack of medicine, bringing the number of the siege victims to 100. 15 Pro-Assad Fighters Killed South Of Aleppo Ahrar al Sham fighters attacked regime positions in Burj al Rumman south of Aleppo, killing 15 pro-Assad soldiers and wounding dozens. Assad’s warplanes launched barrel bomb attacks on the neighborhood of Moyassar in Aleppo, killing five civilians. Explosive barrels were also dropped on the neighborhoods of Sukkari, Bani Zeid, Marja and Karm al Tahan, killing two people and wounding others. Hundreds of civilians were killed as a result of the ongoing aerial campaign on Aleppo, which drove thousands out of their homes. In the meantime, a car bomb exploded in Hanano, as violent clashes broke out between the Islamic Front fighters on the fronts of Aleppo International Airport and Alnairab air base. Air Strikes on Dara’a Province Regime forces shelled Muzeireeb, Sheikh Misqin, Basr al Harir, Inkhil and Dael in rural Dara’a with artillery, killing one person and injuring dozens. Violent clashes erupted in Sheikh Misqin between the Free Syrian Army regime forces.
