ACU Delivers $45,000 USD to Medical Centers in Eastern Ghouta Assistance Coordination Unit (ACU) and the Unified Medical Office in Eastern Ghouta signed a memorandum of cooperation whereby the Office got medical supplies a valued at $44,600 USD. The Office has been working to provide health services to the residents of Eastern Ghouta through hospitals and clinics distributed throughout the area, which has been suffering from a suffocating blockade imposed by the Assad regime, which blocks the entry of any food or medical supplies to the area. Syria’s Muslim Brotherhood Set Conditions for Going to Geneva II The Muslim Brotherhood in Syria defined the conditions for going to Geneva II, putting the departure of Bashar al-Assad and his cronies who have blood on their hands as one of the most important conditions that must be met. Other conditions include ending the regime’s killings and destruction, the release of all detainees and allow of the peaceful movement. The group emphasized that the goal of Geneva II must be the formation of a transitional government with full powers, which will pave the way for holding general elections. FSA Inflict Heavy Losses on Regime Forces The Free Syrian Army inflicted heavy losses on regime forces over the past week. The Assad regime lost four warplanes, 12 tanks and 10 fighting vehicles. A Story Of A Child Named Muhammad Muhammad, a little kid, roams over the rubble to search for wood or any flammable objects that can give warmth to himself and his family who sought shelter in a basement in Aleppo for fear of explosive barrels that have been dropped by Assad’s air force on civilians for the past 12 days. One can easily notice his shag hair, chapped hands, and a number of sweaters with different and asymmetrical colors, worn by Muhammad to protect himself from the harsh winter. While talking about Bashar al-Assad he utters obscenities and inappropriate language that fits well with the tyrant. The boy utters them artlessly, with all childlike sincerity out of the enormous hate the boy harbors towards Assad. “He is killing the people,” is the simple phrase the boy uses to demonstrate why he hates Assad. The video of the boy went viral on Facebook pages, and Syrians widely shared it, either as a kind of humor, or because they felt deeply moved by the video. Dr. Jawad Abu Hatab, head of the Health Committee of the Syrian Coalition, said that the Assad regime is “taking revenge of civilians by bombing residential buildings and bakeries by barrel bombs, after he failed to regain control of the liberated neighborhoods. Surface-To-Surface Missiles Strike Douma Near Damascus Activists said that regime forces fired two surface-to-surface missiles on the city of Duma near Damascus. Fire broke out in gas pipeline near Damascus International Airport. In the meantime, two civilians were killed in Madaya and Zabadani as a result of regime shelling. Violent clashes were reported between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces on the eastern front of the city Darya, alongside intense shelling. Violent Clashes In Central Dara’a The Free Syrian Army clashed with regime forces in the neighborhood of Manshia in central Dara’a, alongside violent shelling by regime forces.
