Denmark condemned the brutal bombardment of Aleppo by the Assad regime and Russian forces, expressing deep concern about the fate of civilians trapped inside the besieged city.
In a letter to the President of the Syrian Coalition Anas Abdah, the Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen said that his country supports putting real pressure on the Assad regime and its allies to stop the bombardment and killing of civilians in order to create suitable conditions to reach a political solution in line with UNSCR 2254.
Samuelsen reaffirmed his country’s continued support for the Coalition, the political opposition, civil society organizations, Syria’s Free Police Force in northern Syria, and the civil defense corps. (Source: Syrian Coalition’s Media Office)
