The 21st General Assembly meeting opened today in Istanbul. On top of the agenda of the meeting are the field and the military situation in Syria and the recent rebel gains against regime forces backed by the IRGC and Hezbollah militias.
The meeting, which will last until Sunday midnight, will discuss the reports of the presidential body and political committee as wells as president Khoja’s recent visit to the United States.
Moreover, the General Assembly will discuss the upcoming bilateral consultations to be hosted by the international envoy Staffan de Mistura in Geneva and the call of the final communique of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s latest summit for hosting a meeting of the Syrian opposition in Riyadh.
