Nasr al-Hariri, Secretary General of the Syrian Coalition, held several meetings with officials of the interim government today in its headquarters in the Turkish city of Gaziantep. The meetings revolved around following tactical steps for the interim government to move to Syrian cities. Also, Hariri and the FSA’s General Staff discussed the military developments and ways to increase support for FSA battalions. He stresses that a political solution cannot be reached without changing the dynamic on the battlefield. (Source: Syrian Coalition)

Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people's unity within the same Syrian soil is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes against Syrians. In addition, it seeks to achieve a transition to a pluralistic, democratic and civil Syria.
