Dr. Ahmad Tomah, the dinterim Prime Minister, held a meeting with Mr. Ghassan Hito, former interim Prime Minister, during which Hito handed over files for all the studies and documents from his designated period as an interim PM. The files included the budgets of the ministry and its objectives, data from work done with various institutions of the Syrian Coalition, as well as the CVs of all ministerial candidates; a file composed of 1070 autobiographies and CVs. Additional files were also handed over containing projects and plans that had been prepared for the different ministries of the government. This meeting was attended by Secretary-General of the Syrian National Coalition, Badr Eddin Jamous, in addition to the President of the National Council, George Sabra, and other members of the Syrian Coalition. Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people's unity within the same Syrian soil is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes against Syrians. In addition, it seeks to achieve a transition to a pluralistic, democratic and civil Syria.
