The first phase of the “Home Forum” opened today in Gaziantep, Turkey in the presence of more than 80 Syrian activists and a number of members of the Syrian Coalition. The Forum aims to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Syrian Coalition and activists inside Syria. It consists of several stages, including conferences, workshops, training courses, joint projects in the fields of politics, media, relief and medical aid. It also aims build genuine partnerships between the activists inside Syria and the Syrian Coalition through developing joint projects designed to address the long standing problems. The first day of the forum will include four workshops; media work, relief aid, medical aid and education. During each workshop views will be put forward to identify the long standing problems, and then solutions will be proposed. At the end of the day all the workshops will be merged within a joint session to view the results that have been reached in each workshop. The Forum ends on Tuesday by holding political session that comprises four main axes, namely, Geneva II conference, international polarizations, civil administration, and political partnership in the Syrian Coalition.
