A delegation of the Syrian Coalition was invited to attend an international conference that is going to be held in Paris next month on the first anniversary of the massacre that was committed by forces of the Maliki regime against residents of the Ashraf Camp in Iraq. Twenty-five people were killed in the massacre and many others were kidnapped, including women. Moses Awshar, an Iranian dissident and one of the organizers of the conference, said that the aim of the meeting “is to expose the inhumane practices of the Iranian and Assad regimes and their allies in the region who are responsible for the most heinous crimes in modern times.” The conference will also discuss the situation of Iranian refugees in the Liberty Refugee Camp in Iraq and the duties of the United States and the United Nations towards them.
