Member of the political committee Badr Jamous calls for stepping support for rebels who are fighting on three fronts in the Al-Qalamoun area, pointing out that they can repel the Assad regime and the militias fighting on its side and ISIS case if they get the weapons they need.
Jamous said that the international community has so far failed to respond to rebels’ calls for support, but instead only expresses concern over ISIS’s capture of cities and towns after it is too late.
Jamous warns that ISIS, having captured Tadmur in the Syrian Desert, might be closer to sweeping Al-Qalamoun area, noting that the Assad regime will most likely open the way for ISIS to reach Al-Qalamoun and battle rebels as it did before. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
