Ahmad al-Jarba, Syrian Coalition President, demands that the French President Francois Hollande to “exert more efforts to stand in the face of Assad and the threat of the extremist groups supported and used by the regime.” He reiterates that, “the Coalition is determined to bring all perpetrators of massacre and crimes to international courts.” After meeting the French president Francois Hollande in Riyadh Sunday evening, Jarba condemns the massacres committed against the Syrian people in Aleppo who are being killed by barrels and other weapons. He considers that the international silence is harder than the shelling itself, as he confirmed his rejection for any role for Assad in the future of Syria. Jarba said that going to Geneva II is conditioned by being based on Geneva I. Hollande, on his part, called the Syrian Coalition to “go to Geneva II to be held next month on the 22nd, on the basis of Geneva I statement (on June 2012), i.e. forming a transitional governing body with full powers.
