Shallal Kaddo, a member of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), highlighted the dire living conditions in areas controlled by the PYD militia. He asserted that the situation is rapidly deteriorating as the militia neglects the well-being of citizens, their livelihoods, and the prospects for younger generations.
Kaddo pointed out that the PYD militia is carrying out the agendas of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), urging mass demonstrations to expose the crimes being committed by the PKK-linked militia.
Furthermore, Kaddo emphasized that the PYD militia, operating through various institutions and branches under different names and affiliations, is solely driven by its partisan and PKK’s interests.
Highlighting their strategy, Kaddo stated that the PYD relies on prolonging the Syrian war, fully aware that the international community does not recognize their self-proclaimed administration. The PYD’s aspirations for legitimacy are met with significant opposition from internal, external, regional, and international entities, leaving the militia with no other option but to prolong the conflict.
