At the end of a two-day visit to Doha, President Khoja said that the Qatari leadership reiterated its full commitment to help the Syrian people achieve their demands for freedom, dignity and removing the Assad regime.
Khoja, who headed a large Syrian Coalition delegation, stated that “Qatar, government and people, has stood to the side of the Syrian revolution from the outset. Together with the rest of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, they are committed to help the Syrian people remove Assad and bring about a political solution through forcing the regime to accept a political solution that meets the demands of the Syrian people to establish rule of law and equality.
Moreover, Khoja said that Qatar and the Gulf states realize now more than ever the extent of the threat posed by abandoning the Syrian people and leaving them victims to the genocidal war waged by the Assad regime and also to the expansionist ambitions of its regional allies.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
