The local council in the town of al-Bab in the Aleppo countryside, affiliated with the Syrian Interim Government, has collaborated with the Anadolu Cultural Center to inaugurate a public library. The event was attended by the head of the local council, Haytham al-Shihabi, the assistant director of education, Khaled Atash, and several local dignitaries.
Al-Shehabi highlighted that the newly opened library is designed to serve the general public, providing students and youth with access to a variety of services, including reading and borrowing books. The library boasts a collection of approximately 4,000 books and has a capacity to accommodate around 50 people.
Emphasizing the significance of the library’s establishment, Al-Shehabi underscored that it aligns with the broader goal of supporting sustainable development, with a particular emphasis on human development.
