Vice-president Hisham Marwa said that Russia committed an act of aggression on Syria by launching airstrikes that targeted purely civilians and left over 30 people killed, vowing that Syria will not be another Ukraine for the Russians, but will be a “graveyard” for them.
Marwa wonders which “terrorists” Russia claims that their raids targeted, adding that it blatantly violated the Geneva I Communique which calls for a cessation of hostilities in Syria. He calls for the establishment of safe zones in northern and southern Syria to help rebel factions fight the Assad regime and ISIS more effectively. (Source: Syrian Coalition + Al-Jazeera)
