In its periodic report released on Tuesday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights said it had documented the deaths of 50 civilians in Syria during September. Among the victims were 13 children, six women, and 10 individuals who died as a result of torture.
The network also reported that 96 Syrian refugees in Lebanon were killed during the Israeli occupation’s aggression on Lebanon, including 36 children and 19 women, between September 23 and September 30, 2024.
According to the report, the Assad regime was responsible for the deaths of 18 civilians in September, including three children and two women. It noted that 24% of the total documented victims in September were in Idlib and Aleppo provinces, marking the highest percentage among all provinces.
The report further detailed the deaths of 10 individuals due to torture in September, with 9 of them killed by regime forces, including 1 child. One individual was killed by other parties. Additionally, a medical worker was killed by regime forces.
The report also highlighted that airstrikes by Israeli occupation aircraft on multiple civilian areas in Lebanon led to the deaths of hundreds of civilians, including at least 96 Syrian refugees, among them 36 children and 19 women.
According to the Network, at least 10 attacks on vital civilian centers were recorded in September, nine of which were carried out by regime forces.
