The Syrian Civil Defense said that the terrorist PYD militia shelled the bank of the Euphrates River near the town of Jarablus in rural Aleppo on Monday, killing one person and injuring five others, including three volunteers of the Civil Defense.
The attack is one of many attacks being carried out by the terrorist PYD militia on civilian targets in the liberated areas.
Member of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) political committee, Salim al-Khatib, stressed that the PYD militia continues to commit various violations against Syrian civilians using tactics similar to those being used by the Assad regime.
Al-Khatib called on the international community to lift any cover off this militia which falsely claims to represent the Syrian Kurds, stop supporting them, and holding them accountable for their grave violations against Syrians.
