Political coordination conducted between Jarba and Western Officials and Friends of Syria seeking to form a transitional team that is able to work if the strike begins

Informed sources said that the head of the Syrian National Coalition, Ahmad Awinnen Jarba, is in constant contact with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to coordinate political positions, noting that the Friends of Syria group began intensive contacts with military and political figures formation to form a transitional working group acceptable to the coalition that would assume control of operations on the ground in preparation for a possible military strike. The sources added that the contacts were arranging a visit to the head of the Coalition to New York for talks with officials of the participants of the General Assembly Meeting of the United Nations in the second half of the following month.
