At the request Syrian journalists and media activists, President Khoja held a meeting with 40 media activists in Istanbul and briefed them on the plans and projects the Syrian Coalition and the interim government intend to carry out. Khoja stresses the need to make reforms to the Syrian Coalition and its institutions, most importantly the interim government and the FSA’s General Staff. He also stressed the importance of institutionalizing the FSA as the first step towards securing safe areas inside Syrian for the Syrian Coalition and the interim government to move to.
Activist Khaled Abu Salah calls on the political institutions of the revolution to reach out to the Syrian people and listen to the voices of rebels, pointing that the Syrian Coalition should keep the Syrian people informed about its projects and plans.
