President Khoja condemns in the strongest terms ISIS’s execution of the Jordanian pilot Mouaz Kasasbeh, offering condolences to his family, to the Kasasbeh tribe, to the Jordanian people who have stood by their Syrian brothers, and to King Abdullah Bin Al Hussein.
“Moaz’s blood has mingled with the soil of our beloved Syria, and whose remains mingled with those of hundreds of thousands of Syrians killed by Assad’s barrel bombs and the terrorist group ISIS,” Khoja said.
“While I strongly condemn this barbaric act, which symbolizes pure evil that the terrorist group represents, and the deepest of depravity to which they are prepared to sink, I call upon the peoples and governments of the world to stand by the Syrian people and end their suffering caused by the Assad regime and ISIS alike,” he added.
Khoja stresses that “the US-led coalition’s air strikes against ISIS positions in the town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobané) have proven that they are unable to completely root out terrorism without coordination and cooperation with the mainstream rebel factions and without empowering the FSA which, which has been fighting the Assad regime and ISIS despite being under-resourced and under-equipped.”
Khoja also extends condolences to the families of Syrians who are killed daily either by burning, bombardment or under torture at the hands of Assad’s murderous regime. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
