The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that the PYD terrorist militia kidnapped two girls, Silva Khalil Hussein and Naima Hassan Hussein, from Sheikh Hadid, a subdistrict of Afrin in the Aleppo countryside. The militia also detained Hamadi Al-Hilal, a boy, during his participation in a protest.
According to two separate reports from the network, the girls Silva Khalil Hussein and Naima Hassan Hussein were born in 2007 and were kidnapped by the PYD militia on October 13 in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo. The kidnapping was carried out to enforce mandatory recruitment, with the two girls taken to one of the militia’s recruitment centers.
The network further noted that Hamadi Al-Hilal, a 17-year-old boy from the village of Umm Al-Sathah, west of Manbij in eastern Aleppo, was arrested after participating in protests criticizing the educational curriculum imposed by the PYD militia in areas under its control. He was detained and taken to an unknown location.
The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) condemned the PYD militia’s ongoing crimes against civilians, calling for an end to international support for the group and demanding accountability for those responsible for these actions.
