Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Haitham Rahma, stressed that the PYD terrorist militia’s continued violations, bombing and terrorist operations in the liberated areas pose a constant threat to the lives of civilians. At least five civilians were injured when two car bombs exploded in Jarablus area in rural Aleppo on Monday.
Rahma said that the terrorist PYD militia is working with the Assad regime to destabilize the liberated areas, which proves once again that they are part of this criminal regime and follow its orders. A mother and her child were injured in shelling by the Assad regime and the PYD militia on the town of Baldaq in rural eastern Aleppo.
Rahma stressed that these repeated attacks pose a constant, serious threat to the lives of civilians, expressing the fear that these attacks will trigger a new wave of refugees.
He called for lifting the international cover off this terrorist militia and holding it accountable for these violations against Syrians. He said that the PYD has a long track record of crimes against civilians.
