Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Haytham Rahmeh, stressed that the crime that the PKK terrorist organization committed in Istanbul represents a clear evidence that terrorism is not limited to a specific place. He stressed the need to confront this organization, which represents a common enemy that targets civilians and poses a threat to the lives of innocent people.
Rahmeh expressed his deep sadness for the loss that the Turkish people suffered as a result of the terrorist bombing that took place in Istanbul, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Rahmeh pointed out that the PKK terrorist organization and its franchise in Syria, the PYD terrorist militia, are committing crimes and violations against civilians in the areas under their control, such as arrest, brutal torture, and recruitment of child soldiers.
Rahmeh also stressed the need to eliminate the threat of terrorist organizations, viewing this as a common goal with the brothers in Türkiye. He added that the SOC is closely communicating and coordinating with Türkiye in order to ensure the safety of the people and confront these organizations.
