The Free Syrian Army liberated the Naseeb border crossing with Jordan, thus taking control of the entire border with Jordan in Dara’a province.
The Syrian Coalition hails the heroism shown by rebels in the face of the Assad regime’s killing machine and the foreign militias fighting alongside it, noting that Syrian rebels are scoring successive victories in the most difficult circumstances.
Spokesman for the Syrian Coalition Salem al-Meslet said that the liberation of the Naseeb border crossing adds to the rebels’ spectacular achievements having earlier took control of Idlib in the north.
The Syrian Coalition calls on the friendly countries to assume their responsibilities towards the Syrian people and support them in this crucial stage of the Syrian revolution.
The Syrian Coalition renews confidence in forces of the revolution that defend civilians, abide by principles of the revolution and respect the international norms and conventions, stressing its commitments to the principles of the revolution to overthrow the Assad regime.
