Member of the Syrian Coalition Jawad Abu Hatab said that Russian air force struck field hospitals providing medical care to civilians over the past two days, prompting the medical staff to declare a state of emergency and to evacuate all hospitals.
Abu Hatab, a cardiologist working inside Syria, said that the Russian fighter jets struck near Al-Lemadiya hospital close to the Turkish border and also targeted a field hospital in the town of Al-Lataminah in rural Hama. They also targeted Al-Burnas and Al-Ikhlas hospitals which provide medical care for children and civilians.
Abu Hatab appeals for the international community to stop the Russian aggression as soon as possible, warning that medical teams will be forced to stop working which will leave civilians without any access to medical care. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
