Head of the Syrian Interim Government, Abdurrahman Mustafa, accompanied by Defense Minister Major General Salim Idris, and the commander of the Hamzah Brigade Saif Abu Bakr, conducted a tour of inspection in the town of Ras al-Ayn in al-Hasaka province to oversee the implementation of the decision to evacuate military headquarters and hand them over to the police force.

Mustafa met with commanders of military formations operating in Ras Al-Ayn region as everyone stressed the commitment to evacuating military headquarters in civilian areas, cooperating to ensure security and stability for civilians, and raising combat readiness on frontlines against the enemy.

Mustafa also met with chief of the Military Police Branch who gave a detailed overview of the tasks being carried out by the Military Police in coordination with military formations in the region.

Mustafa stressed the need to enforce law, prevent abuses, and maintain security and public order.

Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people's unity within the same Syrian soil is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes against Syrians. In addition, it seeks to achieve a transition to a pluralistic, democratic and civil Syria.
