Head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Abdurrahman Mustafa, presented a report on the work of his government during the past two months before members of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) General Assembly during its 64th session.
Mustafa gave an overview on SIG’s work and the major projects implemented in the freed territories, which mainly aim to improve the living conditions; advance administrative work; and improve basic services.
Mustafa also spoke about the tour he has recently made in Afrin along with a big ministerial delegation, and his meeting with a delegation of local councils and dignitaries, in addition his visit to the Military Police Branch, the Police Corps Command, and the National Public Security.
The Syrian Recovery Trust Fund also presented a report on the projects it has implemented in recent months, which focused on rehabilitating schools in northern rural Aleppo, and supporting livestock and agricultural sectors.
The report stressed that the Fund seeks to equally distribute resources to all regions, and to present new proposals to create job opportunities and enable the population to rely on themselves instead on relying on humanitarian assistance.
