The Sports and Youth Commission of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG) held its regular meeting at the SIG headquarters in the Turkish city of Gaziantep.
The meeting brought together Secretary of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) political committee Abdul Majeed Barakat, member of the committee Basma Muhammad, Head of the Sports and Youth Commission Ahmed Al-Khatib, SIG’s Public Relations Officer Yasser Al-Hajji, and members of the Executive Office.
Participants listened to a presentation by the Commission members about their activities and the major services provided by the Commission during the last period.
Members the Executive Office also submitted reports on their major sports activities, and the projects and proposals to be implement in the near future.
Deputy Head of the Commission gave an overview on the meetings he held with youth in the liberated areas with the aim of carrying out various activities, and on the Commission’s participation in the Second Youth Forum at the official invitation of the Association of Revolutionary Syrian Youth.
