The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack that occurred in the Turkish capital, Ankara, yesterday morning, targeting an area near the Ministry of Interior. The SOC stands in solidarity with the Turkish people and their government, extending its wishes for their safety and the preservation of ongoing security and stability.
In its statement concerning the terrorist attack in Ankara, the SOC acknowledged and appreciated the Turkish government’s dedicated efforts in combating terrorism and extremism, regardless of its location.
The SOC emphasized the critical importance of eradicating terrorist organizations that seek to destabilize both Syria and Türkiye on regional and global scales. These groups pose a threat to the safety and peaceful coexistence of various communities, particularly those affiliated with the terrorist PKK organization and sectarian terrorist organizations operating across borders, which have committed war crimes against the Syrian population while supporting the oppressive Assad regime.
Furthermore, the SOC underscored the necessity for sustained collaboration and joint efforts, both regionally and internationally, to combat these terrorist organizations that undermine security and stability on regional and global fronts.
