A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (S)C), headed by Secretary-General Haitham Rahma, conducted an inspection tour to the Qalamoun Conglomerate in rural Aleppo to check up on its work, communicate with the people displaced from the Qalamoun region, and follow up on their issues and conditions.
The SOC’s delegation comprised members of the political committee Badr Jamous, Bahjat al-Atassi, Muhammad Qaddah, and members of the General Assembly Najib Rahmoun, and Ahmed al-Shehadi.
Members of the Conglomerate welcomed the SOC’s delegation as they talked about the Conglomerate’s work and the conditions of the people displaced from the Damascus countryside. They also discussed the reality of the region and the major problems facing the IDPs.
The two sides also discussed the educational process in the region, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation in order to guarantee the right to education for all students.
They also discussed the latest developments in the political process and the Constitutional Committee, in addition to the military situation and the latest developments at the military and administrative levels.
Members of the Conglomerate stressed that the SOC is the legitimate representative of the people of Syria, reaffirming their support for the SOC in the political process.
The SOC has recently stepped up tours to the liberated areas with the aim of following up on the conditions of our people there, and promoting cooperation with the Conglomerate and other civil institutions to serve the IDPs in the region.
