A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) recently visited the municipality of the district of Ceylanpinar in the Turkish province of Şanlıurfa. During their visit, they met with the mayor, Naif Karataş, to discuss the conditions of Syrian refugees in the town.
The meeting focused on the current situation of Syrians residing in the liberated areas east of the Euphrates and those in Türkiye, especially after the devastating earthquake that struck Syria and Turkey in February.
Both parties emphasized the importance of working together to improve the situation of Syrian refugees, assist them in overcoming the damage caused by the earthquake, and address their legal status and presence in Türkiye. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
