Al-Hariri emphasized the importance of these meetings and the sustained communication with all Syrian political forces in correcting the course and working within a common vision to support the Syrian revolution and the demands of the Syrian people.
Al-Hariri talked about the SOC’s activities and its meetings in recent months and the developments in the political process, especially the Assad regime’s disruption of the work of the Constitutional Committee, and the briefing that the UN envoy to Syria, Geir Pederson, has recently presented to the UN Security Council.
Moreover, Al-Hariri called on all political forces and blocs to interact with the papers the SOC prepared on the national discourse and constitutional provisions.
Participants welcomed the SOC’s national discourse as they put forward several suggestions and proposals to be thoroughly discussed and then approved. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
