The Syrian National Coalition met with members of the Syndicate of Syrian Teachers in the Turkish province of Gaziantep to discuss the conditions of Syrian teachers and the educational process in Syria and the host countries.
The meeting brought together SOC’s President Nasr Al-Hariri, Vice President Ruba Habboush, Coordinator of the SOC’s Office of Syndicates and Unions Abdul Majid Barakat, and representatives of the Syndicates Council in Turkey.
Representatives of the Syndicate talked about their activities in recent months as they highlighted the major challenges and obstacles they are facing both in the liberated areas and host countries.
They called on the SOC to follow their issues, support the work of the Syndicate, and enable it to perform its work in the liberated areas and Turkey.
Al-Hariri stressed the importance of the Syndicate’s role in protecting teachers and enabling them to perform their role, pointing to the importance of coordination to face the challenges facing Syrian teachers. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
