Member of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Haitham Al-Shihabi, participated in a ceremony honoring the highest scoring students in the preparatory and secondary school exams in the town of Al-Bab in rural Aleppo.
The ceremony was held under the auspices of the commander of the Hamzah Division in the Syrian National Army. Participants included head of the local council in Al-Bab, Mustafa Othman, and representatives of civic institutions and bodies in the town.
Al-Shihabi gave a speech in which he congratulated the outstanding students and their families, stressing the importance of education in building Syrian capabilities and competencies and continuing the work for building a better future for Syria.
Al-Shihabi also stressed the importance of continued support for the educational process given its role in self-empowerment and completing the journey of the revolution against the murderous Assad regime, which is avidly seeking to undermine state institutions by handing them over to terrorist militias.
