Head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Abdurrahman Mustafa, and coordinator of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) office in the liberated areas, Najib Rahmoun, participated in a ceremony honoring the highest scoring students in the secondary and preparatory school examinations in northern rural Aleppo.
Present at the event were SIG’s ministers, administrative and educational staff, and families of students.
Mustafa said that this success reflects the determination of the sons and daughters of the Syrian revolution to continue their education and the struggle against the Assad regime, which is trying to spread ignorance among the young Syrian generations.
Rahmoun congratulated the students on behalf of SOC’s President Salem Al-Meslet as he thanked the administrative and educational staff in the liberated areas and the Syrian Interim Government.
Rahmoun expressed his great pride in the top scoring students who were able to face challenges and difficulties, and score high marks in their education. He stressed that every success they achieve belongs to the great Syrian revolution, and represents a success for this country that is waiting for more successes to build and recover after it was destroyed by the Assad regime and its allied militias.
Rahmoun stressed that this success is the first of more successes, and that successful students are the treasure of the Syrian revolution, adding that the educated youth are the ones to rely on in building a state that all Syrians aspire to away from the Assad regime.
