President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition, Nasr al-Hariri, sent a condolence letter to the Lebanese Foreign Minister regarding the deadly explosion that rocked Port of Beirut on Tuesday leaving thousands of people dead and wounded.
Al-Hariri extended his sincere condolences to the people and government of the sisterly Lebanese Republic as well as to the families of the victims.
“We pray for God to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on the deceased; grant solace to their families; and give the injured a speedy recovery.”
Al-Hariri reaffirmed the SOC’s keenness on continuing coordination and fraternal relations with the Lebanese Republic in order to take decisions that serve the issues of the two brotherly Syrian and Lebanese peoples.
