President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr Al-Hariri, visited the headquarters of the Syrian National Army and the leadership of the National Liberation Front to offer condolences for the death of SNA fighters who were killed in Russian airstrikes which targeted training camps in the Duwaila region in rural Idlib on Monday.
Al-Hariri was accompanied with member of the SOC’s political committee, Abdul Majid Barakat, and member of the SOC’s General Assembly, Zakariya Malahifji.
Al-Hariri stressed that the barbaric Russian airstrikes represent a blatant breach of the ceasefire agreement in the fourth de-escalation zone in northwestern Syria.
Moreover, he said that the treacherous Russian attack will not weaken our commitment to the revolution and its goals. He stressed that Russia would not have targeted the SNA had the latter not been a source of concern for the Assad regime and its backers.
Al-Hariri called on the international community to put an end to the Russian aggression on Syria and denounce the Russian attack which risks undermining the ceasefire agreement which was reached in March. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
