A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) offered condolences to the Kuwaiti people and its new leadership for death of Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in a visit to the Kuwaiti consulate in Istanbul.
The delegation comprised SOC’s President Nasr Al-Hariri, Secretary-General Abdelbaset Abdullatif, members of the political committee Badr Jamous, Ahmed Ramadan and Salim Al-Khatib.
Al-Hariri signed a book of condolence on behalf of the Syrian people as he expressed the Syrian people’s genuine appreciation to the brotherly Kuwaiti people and the Kuwaiti leadership for its stances in support of the cause of the Syrian people in Arab and international forums.
Al-Hariri stressed the strong relationship between the two brotherly peoples, wishing the new Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, success in ensuring further prosperity for Kuwait and its brotherly people. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
