A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) visited the family and colleagues of the volunteer with the Turkish Red Crescent, Mehmet Arif Kıdıman, who was killed in line of duty in Syria a few days ago, and offered them their sincere condolences.
The delegation was headed by SOC’s President Nasr Al-Hariri who was accompanied by the SOC’s representative in Turkey, Nazir al-Hakim, member of the political committee, Badr Jamous, and member of the General Assembly, Youssef Mahalli.
The delegation met Kıdıman’s mother as they expressed the SOC’s solidarity with the family of the deceased. Al-Hariri said: “Muhammad’s blood was mixed with the blood of the Syrian people in Syria. Our battle and our cause is one. We are fighting for our people.”
The delegation also visited the Turkish Red Crescent office in the Düzce province where they met with the staff and volunteers and thanked them for their efforts to help the Syrian people at home and across Turkey.
The delegation conveyed to the Red Crescent’s staff and volunteers the condolences of the Syrian people, their gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices and heroism shown by the fallen hero Mehmet Arif Kıdıman. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
