Director of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) Office in Ankara, Ahmed Bakkoura, met with Deputy Mayor of Altındağ, Abdurrahman Karabudak with the aim of regulating the legal status of Syrian businesspeople in Ankara.
The meeting brought together Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Justice and Development Party and Hatay’s MP Fevzi Şanverdi, AK Party’s MP in Ankara Hacı Turan, and a delegation of Syrian businesspeople.
The two sides discussed joint cooperation as they discussed the facilitations that the municipality could provide to Syrian refugees residing in the province. They also discussed ways to find appropriate solutions to the problems facing Syrian refugees.
The meeting took place in a positive atmosphere as the two sides emphasized the importance of joint action to solve the problems facing Syrian refugees within the framework of municipal laws.
The two sides stressed the need to continue cooperation in order to resolve the issues facing Syrian refugees in Turkey. Syrian businesspeople expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and the points agreed upon with the Turkish brothers. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
