The office of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) in the town of Azaz in rural Aleppo received Head of the Syrian Interim Government, Abdurrahman Mustafa, the Minister of Finance and Economy Abdul Hakim Al-Masri, and Head of foreign relations Yasser Al-Hajji.
Mustafa was received by SOC’s members Coordinator of the SOC’s office in the liberated areas Najib Rahmon, member of the political committee Muhammad Yassin, and members of the General Assembly Atef Zureik, Youssef Abbas, Asaad Allito, Muhammad Mikhlif, Abdullah Haj Zeino, Azad Othman, and Haitham Al-Shihabi.
Mustafa spoke about the recent developments in the liberated areas, and the military escalation by the Assad regime and the PYD terrorist militia in the region.
He also touched on SIG’s efforts to organize the Syrian National Army within specific controls organized by the Ministry of Defense, in addition to regulating the work of the military police.
Mustafa also talked about the issue of the fallen heroes and SIG’s efforts to support the families of the fallen heroes by providing them with monthly salaries.
Rahmon and the rest of the SOC’s members stressed the need to unify efforts and increase communication and joint coordination among all institutions on the ground, so as to unify the decision-making, stressing their full support for the interim government.
Mustafa and SOC’s members met with a number of delegations, local dignitaries, and representatives of organizations and local councils.
