Najib Rahmoun, the Coordinator of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) office in the liberated areas, hosted a meeting with Badr Jamous, the President of the Syrian Negotiations Commission, and representatives from the Qalamoun youth.
The meeting, attended by SOC members Asaad Allito, Atef Zureiq, and Abdul Malik Abboud, along with Tariq Al-Kurdi from the Syrian Negotiations Commission, delved into the pivotal role of youth in fostering peace within the liberated regions and emphasized their crucial contribution to strengthening social bonds among Syrians.
During the discussions, Jamous underscored the palpable determination among the youth of Qalamoun to secure their return to their homes in a manner that safeguards their rights, safety, and overall security. He affirmed their unwavering commitment to persevering in their struggle for freedom, justice, and the rule of law.
Notably, Rahmoun and Jamous actively participated in a literary and cultural event organized by the Free University of Aleppo to commemorate the UN Arabic Language Day. The event featured various activities that highlighted the beauty of the Arabic language and explored its profound impact on scientific and knowledge development.
