President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Hadi Al-Bahra, together with members of the political committee and General Assembly, engaged in discussions with military police commanders in the town of Ras Al-Ayn in Al-Hasakah province, addressing pressing security concerns.
The SOC’s delegation included members of the political committee, namely Abdul Basset Abdel Latif, Abdulahad Astepho, Muhammad Ali Issa, and SOC member Hussein Al-Raad. The meeting also featured the participation of Hayel Al-Kalsh, the Minister of Agriculture in the Syrian interim government.
The primary focus of the meeting was the imperative to enhance security conditions in the region and the pivotal role played by the military police in maintaining peace and stability.
Al-Bahra stressed the significance of meeting the needs and requests of the local population, even in the face of limited resources. He emphasized the necessity for a committed and resolute effort to attain justice for those who have been oppressed and to restore their rights.
Conversely, the military police commanders outlined the various complaints that had been filed and were presently under investigation. They highlighted the critical need for cooperation among all institutions to ameliorate the town’s overall situation, exert control over security matters, and achieve lasting stability.
