President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem Al-Meslet, stressed that the Assad regime’s atrocious crimes against innocent civilians continue unbated as he called on the international community to deter the regime’s crimes and to deal seriously with Syria.
In comments he published on Twitter, Al-Meslet said: “The Assad regime’s crimes against innocent people are continuing,” adding that six civilians were injured in artillery shelling on the town of al-Atarib in western rural Aleppo on Thursday. He also that the bombing on rural Idlib still constitutes a daily threat to civilians.
Al-Meslet stressed that the international community should force the Assad regime to stop its violations and engage in the political process in accordance with UN resolutions, and to deal seriously and decisively with the Syrian file away from the ongoing procrastination.
